Ncloth maya 20173/29/2024 ![]() In the two part tutorial, Santana shows in the tutorial how to use UVs for texturing in Maya. ![]() This tutorial will help improve your skills, especially in the area of texturing. A Force Field can only be exerted on Nucleus objects that are assigned to the same Nucleus solver as the nCloth object that is generating the Force Field. I'm pretty new to Maya, especially dynamics, so please keep it simple. Tone Santana provides this tutorials for people who already have their hands on 3D modeling on YouTube. Generates a force field that can push (positive fields) nParticle objects and other nCloth objects away from the current nCloth, and pull (negative fields) nParticle objects and other nCloth objects toward the current nCloth. I know I can delete the history of the cloth and the nucleus which would turn the cloth from a dynamic object into a deformed plane, which I could then move and re model to my liking, but I was wondering if there was any way I could set up the ndynamincs in the first place to achieve the result I'm after.Īny help would be much appreciated. I've tried increasing the resolution of the cloth and had a play around with the settings, but I cant seem to resolve the problem. I've looked up several tutorials which all run through the basic set up (create a poly plane with ncloth applied, a shape for the table with passive collider applied, run through some frames and experiment with ncloth presets and settings.)īut I'm not happy with the results, the cloth seems to be left floating a short distance above the table, and has very rounded corners at the edge of the table, like it was made of a very thick, or not so flexible material. ![]() ![]() I'm trying to create a table cloth for a scene using an ncloth. ![]()
